Character Sketch, 10 lines, After

Richey discovered at the age of 24 that he had an untreatable cerebral aneurysm. He could die at any moment. It could be a year it could be ten years. Rather than waiting to die, he empties out his bank account and sells almost everything he owns. He buys a 76 Pontiac Trans Am and with his best friend Morgan, a delinquent high school dropout, they decide to travel America and to do everything. They want to do things they have always been afraid to do or wanted to do, see things that they always wanted to see, and conqure every single one of their fears. It is the trip of a life time and one none of them plan to return from.

Rickey and Morgan are at the circus trying to cut of the first thing of Morgan’s list of fears.
M- Sh*@t! Dude I hate clowns. You sure I have to do this?
R- Absolutely. It is all part of our trip. We can’t die with things left undone. We have to conquer everything we have ever been afraid of.
M- Ya but clowns. I’ve been afraid of theses things for as long as I can remember.
R- We shouldn’t die with any regrets, granted I’ll probably die before you. But when we finally do bit the dust and our lives flash before our eyes don’t you want to be able to look back and say “Ya that’s right, I went to a circus and saw some clowns, and I kicked their ass.”?
M- Could we actually kick their ass at the end of this show? That’s something I have always wanted to do, revenge for scaring me half to death when I was a kid.
R- The untroubled man does not seek revenge; for he knows to seek revenge is to seek self destruction.
M- You and your Zen sh*@t man! I swear if I have to listen to one more of those stupid Pathway to Zen tapes in the car again I’m going to flip out. Besides isn’t that what this whole trip is about anyways, self destruction. I mean I don’t have much of a future with my recorded and you could die at any time. It’s not like either one of us planed on surviving this trip.
R- We would probably get arrested, or we will have to bail out of this town right away.
M- Hey, my recorded could always be more colorful and it’s not like this town is anything special.
R- Alright, but lets finish the show.

After the show Rickey and Morgan went out back and found some clowns. They beat them up until the bearded lady and the strong man came to the clowns aid. Richey and Morgan ran out of town and drove out of that town.
